One Thousand Paper Cranes
Harmony, Hopes, and Wishes
TEACHERS: This is a lesson you can run for your kiddos with limited or no prep! just scroll down the page and do everything in the order instructed! The teacher instructions are in ORANGE and italics (like this one).
Play! Use the following as a settling activity! I like to play it as students enter the room. They tend to either ignore it and settle in or do it and feel more relaxed. Either way, it is a nice transition.

Making Cranes:
Can be hard and frustrating. Remember, anything worth doing won't be easy, but once you learn, you not only have a skill, you have something to do with your hands that costs very little. You also have a meaningful way of giving to yourself and others. Who knows? Maybe after 1,000 you even get a wish!
