A Masters in Informational and Library Science.
National and state standards to meet, as well as California Common Core tie ins.
To go through the same teacher reviews, observations and documentation as all faculty. (Ed Code: 44869.

Gamified Reading Support and Curriculum
(To the right) Students read (collectively) 123 books during the summer months, with the wealthiest player achieving $2,500 in monopoly bucks to exchange for prizes, as well as a free book of their choice.

Micro Fiction Contests, Passive Problem Solving and Brain Quests
(To the Left) Students composed a series of suspenseful micro-fiction stories which were then transposed anonymously and showcased as a gallery walk for their peers.
(Below) Students solve a self contained mystery story using reading comprehension strategies.
Monthly Display Rotation
Hand picked and curated contests and games monthly in order to increase circulation of reading materials and grab student interest.
Space Re-Imagined
Newly refurbished library space including:
Alternative seating, lighting and sound
Practical and developmentally appropriate redecoration.
Recataloging and sub-genrefication of collections.
Full deaccession of materials.
$3,000 in new book donations from the Sacramento Public Library, Friends of the Library
