COMMUNITY DEVELOPEMENTAL WORK FOR YOUTH, WOMEN AND CHILDREN:
To carry out community development work at grass root level which covers positive development of rural youth, women, and children; to save youth mainly from Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco Abuse, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (AIDS), cancer and other major health problems etc.,
To carry out awareness generation activities and research; establishment of rehabilitation centers, organizing blood donation camps, spread of basic education; eradication of illiteracy & poverty; strengthening rural folks economically.
Education, vocational training, employment and re-habilitation of women & children; eradication of illiteracy amongst rural women
Free or low cost medical care facilities for women and children; pre-natal and postnatal care; education for better nutrition for children.
Reform of wayward & street children, work in slums.
Free or low cost legal aid to women in distress, creating general awareness amongst women about their right & laws pertaining to their reforms for enhancing the social status of the women.
Health Care, education & rehabilitation of the mentally retarded and the physically handicapped, including spastic and slow learners etc.
Family planning & welfare.
Scientific research and its application in the fields stated above.
APPLICATION OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY FOR RURAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT:
To carry out work in the field of application of Science & Technology for rural Youth development; particularly for the benefits of the weaker sections of the Society. Application of Science & Technology for rural development may cover any one or more of the following fields/areas:-
Agriculture : Improvement in land use, reclamation of waste land, schemes of landscaping, multiple & new cropping patterns, improvement in techniques of cultivation, promotion of chemical free agriculture-organic farming, agriculture tools and marketing facilities and Post harvest technology.
Animal Husbandry: Improvement in livestock – Dairy, improvement in fodder supply, development of poultry, fish culture etc.
Rural & Cottage industries and rural engineering.
A forestation for better environment: Improvement in Ecology through other measures.
Health: Supply of pure drinking water, improvement in sanitation, low cost balanced diet Water: Repair and maintenance of water supply system.
Energy: Development of practical application of renewable sources like solar, wind and water power, gobar gas, introduction of improved / smokeless chulhas.
Rural Housing: Designing, constructing and fabricating cheap & affordable houses in rural areas with emphasis on use of locally available material and use of local labour.
Transport & Communication: General improvement in village roads transport and communication systems
NEED BASED GENERAL AWARENESS PROGRAMS:
(i) The downtrodden, fallen, neglected, ailing, deserted, exploited persons particularly women & widows.
(ii) The uncared, discarded, destitute & exploited children including orphans & juvenile delinquents, especially from rural areas.
(iii) The youths especially in rural areas for their overall development and channelize their energies by organizing sports & other cultural activities & to save youth from drugs and alcohol abuse, tobacco abuse and AIDS etc., through awareness generation activities.
(iv) Practice Yoga Therapies to rejuvenate youth & general public and to run need based Yoga therapy camps & centers as and when required in the society.
(v) Elder care centers at village level where old people can get health care at their door steps.
(D) EDUCATION and RESEARCH:
To carry out work in the field of Education especially in rural areas will cover one or more of following activities:
(i) Establishing Bal Bhawans & educational Institutions for the deprived ones.
(ii) Opening libraries and reading centers.
(iii) Establishing Teachers training centers and providing latest training to the teachers.
(iv) Opening Art & Craft workshops & centers to preserve and transmit it to the young ones.
(v) To organize workshops, seminars, lectures and symposia for the social & economic welfare of common man.
(vi) Conducting situation based survey research focusing various research problems existing in the society, analysis, report writing with the financial help of Govt. and Non Govt. organizations of India and Abroad.
