YARI International is a group of Social Scientists and Social Workers who have been working together to eradicate various social problems from the society. Our main focus is to create general awareness among people regarding Substance Abuse, Women Empowerment, to save girl child (Female Feticide) targeting especially rural youth, women and children at high risk. YARI International has been working on these issues since 2001 and interviewed with approximately more than 12000 drugs abusers and alcoholics so far in Punjab and Haryana states of India and provided them effective Interventions in terms of providing counselling, referring them to the Drugs De-Addiction Centers, providing them effective Educational materials and some self-help tips. Life development skills and approaches have also been taught to give them a better direction of life. YARI International is a Non-Profit Organization working in India and United States of America and committed to work for the Families, Youth, women and children affected by the Substance Abuse problems in India and USA.
