CAPE is offering a life science class for 4th graders and up. We are excited to have Lindsey Blanchard teaching an 8 week science series including electricity, water and air science.  Each class will have an experiment. Expected cost $20 per student.

Introduction to Foreign Language
CAPE is offering an introduction to foreign language class for 4th graders and up.  This 8-week course will take your child through an introduction to 3 different foreign languages beginning with Spanish, then Swahili, and finally Japanese. The 2-week courses on each language will include the language history and cultural background along with learning greetings and basic phrases. The students will practice what they learn in class with one another. Week 7 in the course will be a recap of all that was learned. Week 8 will be a party with food or beverage from each country and more conversation practice. Come join the fun! This class will be taught by Tina Wanamaker.

Students will need index cards and a pen. There is no cost.

Around the  World
Elementary Exploration
For K thru 3rd grade we are offering "Around the World" a class where we will explore different cultures and places around the world.  This class will be Parent led.  Expected cost $20 per student.

We will pick teachers/helpers from the sign up sheet.

Around the World Class Registration

Homeschool PE Class

Led by homeschool moms, Christine Cole and Brooke Moua  Homeschool PE is open to all students ages 5 through highschool. Our PE class will be Friday morning at Yakima Valley Church. In addition to our games and relays, this class will include a basketball skills series with Brooke Moua for all ages during warmer months. There is no cost for this class and it is open to all CAPE students.
Parent volunteers are encouraged to help.

CAPE is excited to offer Life Science and Around the World classes this spring on Friday mornings.  As a part of this program, CAPE will provide preschool for the younger siblings (ages 3-5) of students attending classes from 10-10:50am. Note: this is not being offered to families that are not participating in our classes.
Laura Gutierrez will be leading this class with a rotating parent helper. $10 fee per child.
