What: Tour a local warehouse and see how apples are processed.

Suggested Age Range: PreK-12

Cost: Free

Maximum Attendance: 30 including chaperones

Registration Deadline: September 4th

Description: Cowiche Growers has been packing and shipping local fruit since 1923. Come see how apples are processed through the assembly line and packed into boxes to be shipped off to stores. The duration of the whole field trip should be a total of 30 minutes and the viewing of the assembly line is around 10 minutes.

Safety Instructions: Please wear closed toe shoes, long hair should be tied in a pony tail and avoid wearing loose clothing that could get caught in machinery. Before entering warehouse we will be required to sanitize our hands.

Please note, this field trip may require additional staffing so please register ONLY IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING.
