IPTS Connection: The objective of this assignment, connecting with standard 1L, was to provide an analysis of the relevant contextual factors that influence teaching and learning in my placement school. These factors include community, district, and/or school factors, classroom factors, student characteristics, and instructional implications.
What I Learned: I learned the importance of considering the complexities of students and all the factors that contribute to their learning.

What I Learned: I learned to recognize and respect differences in individual’s experiences, talents, prior learning, language, culture, family, and community values and design instruction so all students can learn.
