NGO “Khvylia Dopomohy” supports internally displaced people from Volnovakha District and other communities of Donetsk Oblast who live in Zaporizhzhia. We combine humanitarian assistance, social and legal support, psychosocial services, inclusive activities and learning opportunities, with particular attention to people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
Choose the registration form according to your place of residence before displacement:
Register — Volnovakha District
Register — other communities of Donetsk Oblast
Please complete the forms in Ukrainian and follow their instructions. We maintain separate databases for these two groups. Contact our centre or hotline if you need help with registration or updating your details.
Online registration is followed by an in-person visit to verify documents and clarify household needs. Bring original identity and IDP-status documents; confirm the documents required for family members and individual programmes with our staff. Registration helps us plan support and does not guarantee a specific benefit.
Donbaska Rodyna (Donbas Family) Space: digital learning for children, “Workshops of Inspiration” for women aged 60+, creative activities, psychosocial and humanitarian support. The programme is implemented within the multi-donor EMPOWER initiative, funded by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union, and implemented by GIZ Ukraine.
Inclusive Art Space: creative and digital activities, peer support and social inclusion for people with disabilities and their families, developed in cooperation with the Abilis Foundation. Cooperation with the foundation continues.
Humanitarian, social and legal support: assistance according to available resources and programme criteria, information about consultations and referrals to partner services.
Safe Housing: a separate household survey to understand housing needs. We are planning a six-month preparatory project to assess needs, identify potential host communities and buildings, check legal and technical conditions, develop cooperation documents and prepare design and cost-estimate materials for future funding.
The preparatory stage does not include relocation or accommodation. Future housing proposals will take account of each household’s voluntary choice. Survey participation does not guarantee housing or commit anyone to moving.
