Module 5 - Medications Management

Medications must be kept locked away when not in use

All medications are stored in the drugs storage lockers in the store room.

To do this staff are advised to check allocations prior to the event and on arrival to logistics.

The process should be as follows:

check allocations / kit list for allocated drugs.
access the correct safe - see XL Hub App for access codes
Collect the appropriate bag.
Complete the online sign out form/drug count. - use QR code or link to tracker on XL Hub App
Travel to event
On completion of the event and return to logistics, scan QR code, complete drug count.
Return to correct drug safe - if restock is required as per guidance place in restock safe. If no restock required place in ready to use safe.

The management of medications will follow the same process as kit bags, however they must be signed in and out using Drugs Tackers

Medications Bags that have enough medications for the next shift

Medications Bags that do not have enough medications or have out of date medications in them

Sign the medications back in - note in the comment box the reasons for not placing back in use
Place it back in the medications storage area - >>>
