Designated walkways, entrances and exits must be kept clear at all times.

As mentioned previously, Ambulances and other vehicles must be parked in the original location they were taken from.
A banksman must be used to park/manourver vehicles safety.

Vehicle insurance reports (2016-20):
o 65% were in a car park
o 83% were at 10 mph or less
o 70% were wholly or partly the driver’s fault
In 2020 over 10,000 reported UK road accidents included a reversing manoeuvre
Nearly a quarter of worksite deaths involve a vehicle reversing at slow speed

The Park Drivers Door at this point signs should be used as a guide to park vehicle in the correct locations
Some vehicles are fitted with external chargers to keep the vehicle in a ready state.
There are two identified charging areas inside the garage - they aere fitted with a vehicle charing cable.
How to use safely - Turn the vehicle off and isolate as usual
Plug in the cable to the external plug on the vehicle
Set the cut off swtich to on
Check the vehicle is charging correctly - panel will light up
Ensure a warning sign is displayed to prevent an accident on the trailing wire

A first aid kit is located in the Garage Area, on the outer wall of the Crew Office.
The accident book is stored in the Crew Room
All accdients must be reported and recorded! You must call the on call manager and notify them of any accident.
In the event of a fire, leave by the roller shutter door and dial 999
You should only use fire extinguisher to clear a safe path of exit
Fire extinguishers are stored in the main garage area and the cleaning area
In the event of an evacuation you must leave the building immediately and assemble next to the building opposite - you should account for your crew
VDI - Vehicle Daily Inspection
Prior to taking responsibility for any type of vehicle, every driver shall check the vehicle using the XL Team VDI sheet - this can be done using the paper copy - available in the Crew Office or the on line version by scanning the QR code in each vehicle

All completed documents should stored securely in the locked post boxes outside the crew office.
On noticing a fault in the Logistics Hub, please email this to our Shared Services Team.
Emergency Faults such as, Severe Leeks, Power Outages, etc should be reported to the On Call Manager without delay
The crew room is for the welfare of our staff. This room can be accessed via the Crew Office.
The Crew room contains a sofa, kettle and microwave.
