Understand how you run. Learn what to work on. Build stronger, more efficient movement.
This one-on-one assessment combines running video analysis, movement screening, and individualized coaching recommendations to help identify strengths in your current mechanics and areas that may be worth improving.
The goal is not to force every runner into one “perfect” running form. Instead, we look at how you move and focus on the areas that are most relevant to your running.
$80 per athlete
60–75 minute assessment
Your running will be filmed from multiple angles and reviewed for:
Posture and trunk position
Cadence and running rhythm
Foot placement
Overstriding and braking patterns
Hip and pelvic control
Knee tracking
Arm swing
Left-to-right differences
Overall running mechanics
Ochy app running analysis may also be used to provide additional biomechanical data and measurements.
Running form is only part of the picture.
I’ll also evaluate key areas of mobility, stability, strength, and single-leg control using running-specific movement assessments.
Depending on the athlete, this may include:
Ankle mobility
Single-leg balance
Single-leg squat
Step-down control
Calf strength and endurance
Hip and pelvic control
Pogo hops
Single-leg landing control
This helps connect what we see while running with how the athlete moves off the run.
After the assessment, you’ll receive a clear breakdown of:
What you’re already doing well
Your top 1–2 areas to work on
4–6 individualized exercises and running drills
Guidance on how often to perform them
How to incorporate them into your current training
Recommendations may include strength, mobility, stability, running drills, plyometrics, or simple running cues depending on what the assessment shows.
This assessment is a great option for:
Youth and high school runners
Recreational runners
Competitive runners
Runners looking to improve efficiency
Athletes wanting a better understanding of their mechanics
Runners returning to consistent training
Athletes who want more individualized strength and movement guidance
This is not about changing your form just because something looks different.
There is no single perfect running style.
I focus on meaningful patterns that show up consistently across your running video, movement screen, training history, and overall goals.
If something does not need to be changed, we leave it alone.
$40
Recommended approximately 4–6 weeks later when appropriate.
The reassessment may include:
Repeat running video
Repeat key movement tests
Comparison of relevant metrics
Exercise progression
Updated drills
Review of what has improved and what still needs attention
Get a better understanding of how you move and leave with a clear plan you can actually use in your training.
