Running has been a big part of my life for more than 10 years. What started as a way to compete eventually became a passion for helping others discover what they're capable of through the sport.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology because I wanted to better understand how the body works and how runners can train smarter. That education, combined with years of coaching and my own experiences as a competitive runner, shapes the way I work with every athlete.
As a former NCAA Division II runner and current member of SRA Elite, I continue to compete and pursue my own running goals. Along the way, I've experienced PRs, setbacks, injuries, and hard-earned lessons that continue to shape the way I coach today.
Today, I coach Cosumnes Oaks High School Cross Country and Track, where I've spent the past seven years helping athletes develop as runners and as people. Coaching has taught me that no two athletes are the same. Every runner has different goals, strengths, schedules, and challenges, which is why I believe every training plan should be individualized.
Outside of coaching, I also work as a personal trainer at Sacramento Eco Fitness. My background in strength and conditioning allows me to help runners build strength, improve movement, reduce injury risk, and stay consistent throughout their training.
I also spent several years working in run specialty, helping thousands of runners find the right shoes, answer training questions, and navigate common injuries and setbacks. That experience taught me that the right footwear, smart training, and consistency often make the biggest difference.
Whether I'm building a training plan, recommending shoes, or helping someone prepare for race day, my goal is always the same: give runners the tools and confidence to train smarter and enjoy the process.
Whether you're training for your first 5K, chasing a new PR, or preparing for your next marathon, I'd love the opportunity to help you reach your goals.
