The tourist settlement Le Rocce, Giuseppe Spatrisano, 1954 - 1959, in the bay of Mazzarò in Taormina. The first of the tourist settlements designed by Spatrisano in Sicily, built with public funding (Cassa del Mezzogiorno, Regione Siciliana, Marshall Plan).  The publications surrounding this project trace similarities with the works of Pikionis, Konstantinidis and Coderch. The settlement, which belongs to the Province of Messina, was for a long time abandoned, but recent reports indicate that its restoration is imminent.
