Located in the at the entrance of Ancient Olympia, on a plot of 18,4 acres, and has an area of 1.756 sq.m. (capacity 72 beds).
architect:
The property is of great historical and cultural value, as it was built during the reign of Otto by the Danish architect Christian Hansen. The premises were modified by Ernst Ziller in the period 1871-1891 and have been classified as historical monuments as they are remarkable examples of architecture directly linked to the history of the Kythnos Baths.
Within the property there are two thermal springs, a) the saline thermal spring of 'Agioi Anargyroi' and b) the ferrous thermal spring 'Kakavos'.
The property is located in the traditional settlement of Loutra Kythnos and consists of hotel facilities, a hydrotherapy centre consisting of 14 separate marble baths and support infrastructure. It is considered the first spa tourism infrastructure to operate in Greece. The hotel, which ceased to operate in 1999, is located in a three-storey building and has 46 rooms.
The property was made available through e-auction IX for a total price of EUR 3 million and the contract was signed in June 2022.
