Saturday Finals - in Monmouth

Saturday Schedule

On Saturday all of the children will come together to showcase their projects to a panel of judges, they will be performing in teams centre by centre. Then there will be an opportunity for judges to speak to the participants and ask questions at a round table event. Awards and prizes will be given in the afternoon. The prize categories are as follows:

• Arcola Cup for the Best
• Best Proof of Concept
• Judges Special Prize (Wildcard)
• Best Electrical Engineering
• Best Software Engineering

The Saturday timetable is as follows:

• 9am - 10am Registration
• 10am - 10.30am Opening remarks from Arcola and headline sponsors
• 10.30am -12.30pm Presentations from the stage
• 12.30pm -1.30pm Lunch
• 1.30pm - 3pm Teams sat at tables (8 tables with a centre at each), judges visit each team, ask questions and get enough info to judge
• 3pm - 3.30pm Judges retire to decide winners in categories
• 3.30pm - 4.30pm Judges announce winners from stage and give out prizes
• 4.30pm - 5pm *Photo opps at wall
• 5pm finish

For Saturday

1. Teams will showcase in the morning from the stage. We will have presentations for parents, other teams and friends from 11.15 on Saturday morning. Presentations have been uploaded to YouTube - you can see all Monmouth teams here.

2. Please, if you take photos, upload to twitter and instagram on the hashtag #h2hack.

3. Judges' questions will take place after lunch through appear.in/hydrogen.
