Guidelines & Rules

What are the rules?

- All inventions should be powered from a single USB connection

- Teams cannot have more than 5 members or less than 2.

- All finished designs must be able to run on the Hydrogen Fuel Cells provided.

- Final designs can be presented as a ‘proof of concept’ but we advise teams to aim for as finished an invention as possible as you will only be able to compete in this one category.

- You can use objects/equipment/components purchased or bought from home.

- NO batteries are allowed.

- Behave Responsibly – you will be working in an environment with hot-glue, sharp knives, soldering irons and the potential to get a painful electric shock, attendees who do not conduct themselves appropriately will be asked to leave for the day and (depending on the severity of the misconduct) potentially barred from attending future events.
