ACTIVITIES BY THE STUDENT ORGANIZATION
The Freshmen Orientation is the organization's primer event to open the school year which aims to welcome the program's first year students and get them familiarized with the university, college, and department's faculty members. The ESS also introduced itself as the official academic organization of the department where they can raise their inquiries, concerns, and grievances and invite students who wants to be a part of the ESS. This school year's freshmen orientation featured an inspirational talk from the late Prof. Jay Dumlao, one of the department's most seasoned instructors, and Mx. Rovic Santos, an alum and former ESS president.
For the first time ever in the organization's history, it organized and conducted back-to-back major on-site events. The Cultural Activity featured a showcase of Filipino delicacies, tradition, and rich cultural heritage. The General Assembly concluded the following day to seal off the 2-day event. It gathered all students of the program for a series of inspirational messages from the dean and guest speakers. Fun games, raffle, and performances were also prepared to boost excitement and provide entertainment. ESS' officers also took oath before the students to which they serve.
The ESS holds great value on the essence of the Season of Giving. As Entrepreneurship students who study social entrepreneurship, it is important to promote and practice a CSR Activity. Through a sponsorship, the ESS was able to hand out 100 food packs to the university's maintenance personnel. This act of kindness is a token of gratitude and appreciation for their efforts in keeping the university premises clean and organized for the use of students. Additionally, the ESS was able to purchase food items that were bundled as noche buena packages as a raffle prize using its funds and in-kind monetary donations from students.
The Entrepreneurship Week is an annual week-long event organized by ESS to promote teamwork, camaraderie, and ignite the competitive spirit of the BS Entrepreneurship students. It consisted of an opening ceremony, quiz bee, advertisement competition, esports tournament, ball games, and logo making competition to name a few.
For the Women's Month celebration, the ESS organized an activity that would get all students at the College of Business Administration engaged by making a freedom wall where students can stop by and post their messages, quotes of empowerment, and confessions to uplift their selves and women in the society. It also featured a mirror where students can take a photo with.
To cap off the earlier concluded activities of Entrepreneurship Week, a special Closing Ceremony was organized to award the winners of each activity. The event also facilitated the awarding of Business Plan Exhibit winners, an activity organized by the Department of Entrepreneurship for the 4th Year students. Outstanding officers of the organization were also acknowledged towards the end of the program.
The ESS promotes gender awareness, inclusivity, and empowerment inside the academe. As the world celebrates Pride Month during the month of June, the ESS acknowledges the role and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ members in the society. For this year's program, the organization published a vodcast featuring two individuals that represent their community in leadership and modelling. They spoke up about the challenges they had to deal with growing up just to be accepted by the people around them. They shared ways on how one can be brave to express their identity while still making a positive impact and influence.

The Appreciation Dialogue is an annual activity conducted by the College of Business Administration and Department of Entrepreneurship to acknowledge its students' host training establishments (HTEs) for their part in implying invaluable knowledge and guidance to the student-interns in the real-world work setting. These institutions served as a facility for students to have a grasp of the corporate environment and gain the experience that they need to launch them into their future career destination. The Appreciation Dialogue also serves as an opportunity for the college to strengthen its relationship with the institutions in creating a more conducive internship experience that would maximize the students' skillset while honing other areas as well. As for the partner institutions, the activity enables them to expand their intern recruitment efforts.
A Business Plan Competition was held for the 4th Year students taking up their Business Plan Implementation I subject. The students were challenged to finish their business pitch within 10 minutes. The department invited seasoned professionals as panelists to properly examine the contents of each business plan presented. It was the first in the department's history to create a program for the presentation of business plans. This program or activity is expected to be continued on the succeeding years.
A Business Plan Exhibit was held for the 4th Year students taking up their Business Plan Implementation II subject. It featured 16 booths representing each group from all 3 sections which comprised of food, personalized crafts, and hygiene products. The exhibit allowed the students to sell and showcase their products to students, faculty, and other university personnel. The students maximized the use of recyclable materials for their booths to promote sustainability and practice resourcefulness.
Info Session on Crowdfunding Strategies
An Info Session on Crowdfunding Strategies was organized for the 3rd and 4th Year students currently attending to their Business Plan Preparation and Business Plan Implementation subjects, respectively. It featured a discussion from Mr. Brandon Leong which emphasized on several ways to attract investors into funding your business. Full Cup, a registered business under the PUPreneurs program presented a financial plan pitch to lead by example.
