PUP Marketing Department triumphs as Marketing School of the Year at the prestigious 42nd Agora Awards 

The Agora Awards is an annual recognition program organized by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) to honor outstanding individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional marketing practices and contributed to the growth and development of the marketing profession in the Philippines.

The awards program was first launched in 1979 and has since become one of the most prestigious marketing awards in the country. The Agora Awards recognizes various categories, including Marketing Company of the Year, Marketing Agency of the Year, and Marketing School of the year, among others.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines emerges as the Marketing School of the Year at the 42nd Agora Awards. Dr. Blessing Garcia-Glova, Chairperson of the Department of Marketing Management, College of Business Administration, proudly accepts the accolade. This recognition reflects PUP's dedication to providing high-quality education and making significant contributions to the marketing field. Celebrating this achievement at Shang The Fort, Manila on January 19, 2024, under the theme 'Speckles: Celebrating Filipino Marketing Excellence.'

AGORA YOUTH AWARDS

Launched in 1979, the Agora Youth Awards is an annual recognition program organized by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) to honor outstanding organizations and individuals that have demonstrated exception marketing practices and contributed to the growth of the marketing profession in the country. PUP through the years has been recognized in both individual and organization categories. Most recent groups of awardees include:

Batch 2023

• Most Outstanding Marketing Student of the Year – Individual Category

• Most Outstanding Junior Marketing Association of the Philippines – Organization Category

• For this year, PUP BSBA Marketing graduating student, Juan Miguel Robles was awarded Batch Valedictorian of 2023 Agora Youth Awards for the individual category.

• JME Batch Trailblaze ranked third for the Most Outstanding Junior Marketing Association of the Philippines for the 31st Agora Youth Awards 2023.

• Mr. Joshua Angeles, a 3rd year BSBA Marketing student got the Top 6 spot also in the individual category.

• Mark Joshua Durante, a graduating student, was part of the Top 15 finalist for the 31st Agora Youth Awards.
