Once you have decided to order beef from us, we want to make the process as simple and convenient as possible for you.
To help achieve this goal, we've laid out the steps here for easy reference.
Please call or text Fred or Dave at their phone numbers provided, or contact via our Facebook page, to let them know you're interested in buying beef.
Fred or Dave will let you know when the animal has been brought to the butcher. This is when you need to call Alsleben Meats to tell them your name and that you're buying meat from Gongoll Farms.
They will walk you through your personalized cutting instructions. For example, how many steaks per package and how thick you want them cut. This takes about one minute to complete, as they do this everyday with their customers so there's nothing to be worried or intimidated about. If you're not sure what you'd like, they can give you suggestions based on what other people do.
The butcher shop will let you know when your beef is ready for pick up. Please try to arrange for timely pick up as they have limited freezer storage.
When you get to the butcher, they will charge you their fee for processing that you will pay directly to them. Please keep your receipt from them. It lists the hanging weight of your order. This is how we know how much you owe us for the beef. You will then pay us for the beef, via cash or check.
