Gongoll Beef is grown locally, just a mile southwest of Mayer, MN, on a third-generation farm, where Fred Gongoll and his son David, raise their Angus beef cattle.
They also farm corn and soybeans, and raise chickens and ducks for fresh eggs.

Due to the continued rise in cattle prices, we must adjust our beef pricing.
Effective September 1, 2025, the cost will be $4.10/lb hanging weight to Gongoll Beef. The butcher’s rate is $0.80/lb, plus a $25 kill fee per quarter, making the total $4.90/lb hanging weight.
For a typical quarter beef with a hanging weight of 190–240 lbs, this results in a total cost between $1,045–$1,175.
