Social Events

With uni life back on campus in 2023, we're stepping up our events and the ways to get involved with WUDFA! We're excited to bring social events to campus for PAIS-interested students, in a COVID-safe, friendly environment. We have a lot of ideas and initiatives already being planned, and we would love to see all our members and interested students there! Whether you're interested in flexing your brain with trivia, or expanding your understanding of international relations and governance, there's something for you at WUDFA in 2023! Diplomacy in the Pub

Diplomacy in the Pub is a monthly event hosted by WUDFA at the UOW UniBar, in which a guest speaker is invited to speak on an international relations issue and talk to our members, and then we have social drinks to discuss the issue and other politics. If you're interested in learning more, voicing your opinion or just keen for a drink and good conversation, Diplomacy in the Pub could be for you!

Model United Nations (MUN)

Model U.N. (MUN) is our biggest program at WUDFA, and we would love more members to get involved and find out more about this unique experience! It is great for confidence building, overcoming public speaking anxiety, communication and negotiation skills, and inter-uni networking. Inter-Society Events

We love presenting a wide range of activities for our club members, but not all are possible without the support and collaboration of other UOW societies. We frequently hold events with other societies to offer the most to all UOW students and staff. We have previously collaborated with the UOW History Society, SWORDS, French Club, Visual Arts Society, Archaeology and Ancient History Society, and the Philosophy Forum.
