2024 Director of Academia: Jasmine Wong
The balance between work, uni and life can be difficult, whether you are a first year student, nearing the end of your degree, or just feeling the mid-degree burnout. Study becomes the primary focus of many students, and can become detrimental or suffer due to personal pressures. Essential skills, such as research, studying, writing and problem solving, can be challenging to new students in a tertiary setting, and we want to make the understanding and application to assessments as easy as possible.
At WUDFA, it is important to us that all students have access to help, and feel supported in all university settings, so that they can reach their academic and personal potential. Whether you’re in need of practical help, study advice, learning workshops or wellbeing support, we’re here for you. Some of the great programs and events we offer include:
100-level PAIS support and workshops,
Guest lectures and seminars,
Access to UOW services and resources,
Study and uni survival tools,
Social gatherings that focus on university life and study, and
First year support.
