This assignment is to group up into pairs within the class, research two different locations, and compare the two locations. The location I have picked for this assignment is New Zealand. I have picked New Zealand as I very recently had heard that it has become a technology center in the past couple decades, and wanted to look further into this. My partner in this project picked Australia, beside New Zealand and a good place to study the use of technology comparative to New Zealand.

Interesting Fact
An interesting fact of New Zealand that I discovered while researching the country was that while 16.5% of the country is Māori, only an estimated 3% of the population speaks Te Reo Māori, the native language of the Māori. This is interesting to me as it shows the historical colonization of New Zealand by English speakers, and how it impacted the preservation and use of the Te Reo Māori language.
