What is Continous Open Bidding (COB)?
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) occurs throughout the year following Primary Recruitment which takes place first week of B term.
The COB process is designed in a way that allows potential members the opportunity to become acquainted or re-acquainted with different chapters on campus. Furthermore, chapters will contact potential members on an individual basis.
You do not have to participate in Primary Recruitment to participate in COB, however, it is important to note that not every Panhellenic chapter participates in COB each fall or spring.
It is largely an informal process compared to Primary Recruitment.
Potential new member must be a regularly matriculated student in the institution to be eligible to participate in membership recruitment
Potential new member shall not be, or have ever been, an initiated member of an NPC group and join Unanimous another NPC group
Any potential new member who signs an MRABA and receives a bid at the end of the membership recruitment will be bound by the until the next primary membership recruitment period at the same college or university
