Panhellenic sororities at WPI participate in primary recruitment at the beginning of B Term.
By going through sorority recruitment, you have the opportunity to meet new people, see what sororities on our campus are like, and figure out if joining a chapter is something that interests you!
All chapters at WPI host events related to philanthropic missions, community service, sisterhood events, professional development, social activities, networking opportunities through alumni and beyond, and scholarship and academic events.
Sororities enhance the lives of many WPI students, how could joining a sorority enhance yours?

Joining a sorority at WPI is about so much more than just sisterhood. It's about growth, leadership, support, and making lifelong connections. At such an academically rigorous and technical school, sororities can give you the opportunity to personally grow as a more well-rounded person. They serve as outlets for creativity, platforms for strong leadership development, and networks that extend far beyond the WPI campus. Through member development, philanthropy, community service, scholarships, and more, we strive to help each member realize their full potential.
Each sorority has its own personality and values, but what unites us as a community is the shared commitment to uplifting one another and striving to become the best versions of ourselves. I can confidently say that joining a sorority has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my college experience.
I know that choosing to go through recruitment can feel overwhelming and is intimidating, especially with transitioning to college, but we're here to support you every step of the way.
I encourage you to come to our recruitment events, ask questions, and see what feels right for you. No matter where your path leads, we’re cheering you on.
Sincerely,
Leah Johnson
