WPE DiaSpray

WPE DiaTec Spray is a highly resistant , high density ceramic concrete, consisting of a UHPC cement binder and different kind of mineral and ceramic aggregates.

Due to the very high compressive strength combined with a high material density and mineral or ceramic aggregates, creating a flexible and easy -to-apply special concrete spray material.

The high material density of WPE DiaTec Spray prevents the ingress of liquid or gaseous impurities.

WPE DiaTec Spray was developed for the optimal , large scale installation of WPE DiaTec UHPC (Ultra High Prerformance Concrete) products.

WPE DiaTec Spray 500 and Spray DiaTec WPE in 2000 based on the successfully used WPE DiaTec Flex / Cast 500 and WPE DiaTec Flex / Cast 2000.

Because of this technology the binder / aggregate mixture very little water is added and the water a few minutes needed to react with the binder , a installation only in wet spraying system is possible.

If a special surface preparation is necessary?

In a steel structure : the liner surface should be free of oils and rust pieces .

In a concrete structure : the liner surface should be free of loose particles and a primer separation layer should be applied .

Which anchoring system is preferred?

Expanded metal, wire mesh mats, special anchors

What kind machines are required for installation ?

A concrete mixer and concrete pump (eg Putzmeister S5)

With how much material rebound has to be calculated?

The material rebound is at a vertical surface less than 2%

What layer thicknesses can be applied ?

Layer thicknesses of 15 - 200 mm are possible to apply .

Once an overhead installation possible?

Yes , WPE DiaTec Spray qualities can be installed up to 100 mm overhead layer thicknesses.

What average installation capacity is reached when mounted on a vertical surface.

With an experienced team of fitters, 100 m² per working day can be reached.

After how many hours the fitted surface can be charged?

After 48 hours, the material has a strength obtained at the liner surface may be charged .
