Unless modified, non-Worbal lifeforms cannot pilot or control Worbal vehicles. Because many of them rely on Araylith to function, a Worbal has to be in the pilot's seat for the vehicle to turn on. In larger vehicles such as starships, the Worbals do not provide all the power. They're merely there to act like a key to unlock the Araylith. The rest of the power comes from standard fusion technology. For smaller vehicles such as hoverbikes, Worbals can provide all the power required. Though these smaller vehicles may be within their power limit, many still use the same "key tech" that ships do, lest it tires out the driver. Entirely self-powered bikes are similar to bicycles on earth whereas the ones with their own power source are seen as motorbikes
A Worbal ship capable of FTL is very expensive in their society, but not unattainable. They are multiple times more expensive than a home as much of the ship is living space. With multiple companies producing their own models and competing, the barrier to entry is getting lower and lower.
Personal transport exists on Erani. Cars are used, but are split 30/70 with the more common hoverbike for usage. Many Worbals will instead opt to use public transport, commonly built underground, to move around. Since these personal transports hover, the road systems between cities aren’t highly developed and mostly devoid of infrastructure. Worbals often use starships to travel large distances across their planet instead of personal transport vehicles.
