The discovery of Datalisks is acredited to Rerias Luindar Lenase.
Datalisks are made from Araylith-45, Araylith-24, and Araylith-67. An exerpt from Rerias Luindar's journal outlines the recipe:
In order to make a datalisk, A worbal must charge Araylith-45 quite a bit and then crush and pestle it into a fine powder. The process also requires A-24. Again, crushed and mixed into a fine powder. Once you have those, you combine the two powders and saline water. To hold the crystal and allow it to form correctly, a ferrous metal wire or rod must be placed into the centre, touching the base of the container. In order to jump-start the reaction, a worbal must place a paw onto the metal core. If they dont want to use their paw, a natural connection to ground can be used as well, albeit for a much slower crystalization process. Once the connection to ground is established, the latent energy buildup of the A-45 will be released quickly and all at once, now having a place to go, energizing the saline water and overcharging the A-24 due to the intensity of the charge and high current, acting as mini hyper-magnetized particulate. This extreme magnetism allows the A-24 to stick to the metal core and other Araylith with immovable, impossible strength. While this is taking place, a small bit of powder or peice of A-67 must be added to the violent mixture, but never before the reaction is taking place. The resulting crystal will be a datalisk and will have the imprint of whatever individual started the reaction. If no worbal started it, the crystal will be able to be used freely by any other worbal.
