The legal cannabis market in Canada is constantly evolving. More and more companies are producing topicals, edibles, and concentrates, Giving Canadians a fair amount of options to pick from.
Recreational cannabis can be overwhelming at first. It all boils down to three basic categories when you go into a recreational store,
Smokeables; concentrates, vape pens, pre-rolls & dried flower
Edibles; oils, capsules, chocolates, gummies & beverages.
Topicals; creams, lotions, roll-on gels & bath bombs
This year has brought us three new amazing products I've personally tried and enjoy! If you follow my social media you’ll know I’m passionate about legal cannabis and supporting it. When I can get my hands on new products I take full advantage.
I reside in New Brunswick, Canada, and our Cannabis market can be lacking. I’m fortunate to have a medical cannabis authorization and can access more options online with Medical Cannabis by Shopper Drug Mart.
The best way to relieve a sore body is typically a warm bath. The heat of water soothes the stiff muscles, relieves stress so you can relax, and melt the day's stress away. What if you could make your bath routine an even more exciting experience with added pain relief?
Thanks to Legalization 2.0, we now have cannabis-infused topicals available to us on the recreational & medical cannabis market in Canada. Though it has been a slow roll-out, one of the top products on the market is Stewart Farms Bath-Bombs. These handcrafted and thoughtfully designed bath bombs have their users best interest in mind. With biodegradable packaging and all-natural ingredients, you’re doing yourself a favor!
The skin is our largest organ. Our bodies come equipped with an endocannabinoid system. This system has a ton of receptors throughout our body. When one area is lacking in endocannabinoids, the THC/CBD knows where to go to help replenish and balance your system.
Our skin is full of these receptors and when cannabis topicals are applied or used topically in a bath, the cannabinoids are absorbed faster and are able to reach those localized cannabinoid receptors.
Baths can help ease sore muscles and relieve joint pain. If you have inflammation caused by chronic illness and pain, baths help loosen the sore muscles and joints.
Baths improve blood flow, thus reducing blood pressure.
Baths can boost your mood! There is just something about sinking into a warm bath and with the pleasure of an added infused bath bomb
Baths can help prepare you for bedtime by relaxing your body and mind.
When we add cannabis to our bath routine, we reap the extra benefits plus all the joy of a normal relaxing bath.
These bath bombs are now available in Alberta, British Columbia & New Brunswick.
This Sativa dominant strain is incredible. Avana really kicked it out of the park with this concentrate. Avana Cannabis takes great pride in small craft batches of flower. They’re passionate about the plant and take great pleasure in making sure it’s grown & harvested to perfection.
What’s cool about this strain is the terpene Farnesene!
I’ve not experienced this one much but I can confidently say it’s in my top three now!
This terpene is also found in turmeric, green apple skin, German chamomile, cedarwood, patchouli & more! Its medicinal properties are anti-inflammatory, calming, and muscle relaxing.
THC CONTENT ~ 75%
CBD CONTENT ~ 1%
Terpenes:
Trans-caryophyllene, Farnesene, Humulene, Limonene, Myrcene

Wana is an American company that has brought its edible brand to the Canadian market. Their gummies in my opinion are one of the best on the market as far as taste, texture, and CBD content go.
Wana partnered with Indiva, a licensed producer here in Canada and they've since released a whole line of cannabis-infused gummies to the recreational and medical market.
The two kinds I've tried are;
Pomegranate Blueberry Acai 5:1 25 mg CBD, 5 mg THC per gummy
&
Japanese Citrus Yuzu 2:1 10 mg CBD, 5 mg THC per gummy
I loved them & appreciate the high CBD content as it’s great for pain relief.
