This Small Museum is our collection of artefacts either personal or items remaining in our care from the collection initiated by the Prentice Centre staff at the University of Queensland. This collection was quite extensive and was enhanced by additional donations from across the university, alumni and external contributions. Those of us who saw value in the history of the development of information technology in Australia were disappointed when the university chose to dispose of this collection. Fortunately, a few of us were given enough time to rescue many of the artefacts and a significant amount of digitised historical materials.
Many of these artefacts, happily, are now resident with the Australian Computer Museum Society in Sydney. The ACMS would appreciate your support in the continued recording of this important and fascinating segment of Australian history.
