2) You walk into class at 2:15, the teacher say's, "You're 30 minutes late." What time did class start?
3) Nick owes his landlord $1,000 for rent, the electric company $100 and the water company $35. His paycheck was for $2,000. How much does he have after paying his bills?
4) Four friends start a moving company. In one week they moved 5 houses and made $350 for each house. They split their revenue evenly. How much money does each friend get that week?
