Please note a food band is a warehouse and distribution center where food is solicited, received and inventoried and then distributed to local pantries and soup kitchens. A pantry is a charity that distributes food and groceries to those in need.

The schedule for Foodlink’s mobile market, the Curbside Market, can also be found at https://foodlinkny.org The Curbside Market stops include affordable housing sites, senior centers, health clinics and community centers. They are stocked with fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and select grocery items. The also began accepting WIC benefits in October 2024. The market is open to everyone and accepts cash, debit, credit, SNAP, Fresh Connect Checks and FNMP (WIC and Senior). They are open 6 days a week year-round.
Pittsford Food Cupboard: (585) 264-9860, 3800 Monroe Ave., Pittsford Business Park, Suite 26, Pittsford, 14534. The Pittsford Food Cupboard is supported largely by the Pittsford Community. Serves the need in Pittsford, Mendon, Honeoye Falls, Brighton, East Rochester and some areas of the city Rochester. You may come every two weeks (no sooner) and to start as a new client you will need to bring: Proof of address (piece of mail dated within 30 days), Photo ID for person shopping, One piece of mail for each adult 18 years+ years of age living in the household dated within 30 days, Photo ID for everyone over 18+ years of age living in the home, Documentation for children (birth certificate, permit, health care card, etc.) living in home. St. Peter’s Kitchen: (585) 235-6511, 681 Brown St. Rochester, 14611, https://stpeterskitchen.org Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from noon to 1:00PM. Free. If you regularly visit for lunch asking food for your family, they ask you bring identification for people you are supporting and other than that, all are welcome, no questions asked. Food pantries are open to anyone who has a need for food, you can visit once a month, we stock fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, frozen foods and more, hygiene and household and pet items are offered as available. Food Pharmacy a Food Pharmacy program to get a free monthly produce box and participate in educational sessions, classed split between two locations and transportation is provided. You are eligible for this is you live in the city of Rochester, are experiencing chronic food-related health condition like diabetes, high cholesterol or hypertension. Southeast Catholic Community Supper Program: located at Blessed Sacrament Church on Oxford St. near the corner of Monroe Ave. Supper is served M-F from 5:30-6:30 except for July and August when it is served M-Wed.
