ROC The Peace: Call or text Sirena at (585) 820-4049, offers two support groups for families impacted by violence. All meetings are held at 3000 Mt. Read Blvd. Suite 202, Rochester, 14616. Why My Baby?! Is for those who have lost a loved one to homicide, suicide or prison. It meets twice a month on the 2nd Friday and last Monday of the month from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Youth for Peace is a twice a month group for young people ages 5-18 who have lost a family member or close friend to violence. Contact the individuals listed above for time and place of the meetings.
Hope for Survivors HOPE (315) 475-9675, 4500 Onondaga Blvd., Syracuse, 13219, ZOOM is available for those who live out of town. For those struggling with death by suicide of a child, sibling, parent, spouse, partner, relative or friend. HOPE meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8:30pm.
