Based on feedback from the 2025-26 Cohort, OLLI organizers have implemented the following improvements for the 2026-27 program:
Begin with an online orientation June 17, 2026 from 4-5 p.m. (will also be recorded) that will allow us to maximize our in-person time.
Maintain our in-person summer session to two days, August 4-5, 2026 at Edmonds Heights K-12, a location with more space, free parking, and better breakout options.
OLLI participants will have the opportunity to participate in OLLI throughout the 2026-27 school year based on their capacity and availability. This could look like working with others to offer virtual professional development to teacher librarians, working with a small group on a specific goal, or simply putting your skills to use on your campus. We hope the added flexibility in the program will allow everyone to find what they need from the program.
Attending OLLI provides a strong foundation for Portfolio 4 of National Board for Professional Teaching Standards by helping you begin building evidence of leadership, collaboration, and professional impact beyond your library.
