Madison HS League

The 2022 informational meeting for the Madison Area High School League was held Tuesday January 7th. If you are interested in what was discussed, please reach out to wisconsinultimate@gmail.com.

The HS League is a USAU sanctioned league. All players must be placed on team event rosters and have up to date USAU memberships (minimum affiliate level). USAU rules also require all youth teams to have at least one certified chaperone and one certified coach. The Play-It-Forward program provides membership assistance in need-based situations.

As discussed at our coaches meeting, this league puts a high emphasis on spirited play. Teams are encouraged to identify spirit captains and discuss potential issues as they arise. Coaches have the power to stop any game when they observe behavior that warrants such actions. Some examples of such censured behavior at the observed level can be found in the USAU Observers Manual (pages 23-25).
