Community Preschool Quality Education
“Early childhood education programs were never meant to produce geniuses, nor are they merely perfunctory. The aim of quality early childhood education is, and always was, the facilitation and enhancement of the child’s growth.”
- The Child and Society by David Elkind
Our preschool is located at the Windsor Park community hall at 11840-87-Ave, Edmonton, T6G2S3, near the University of Alberta campus.
We are a community-based preschool program which relies on the active participation and cooperation of our preschool families throughout the year. This provides a great many benefits to our preschool families: an enhanced learning experience, a greater sense of community, positive role modelling, improved communication as well as extra support for our teacher.
Parent/Guardian participation is expected. Taking turns as a Duty Parent/Guardian, fundraising, being Play Doh-maker, coordinating the duty roster, organizing cleaning bees, planning class parties or by being a member of the preschool program subcommittee... your involvement in the running of the program contributes to a warm, inclusive, and enriching atmosphere that supports the wellbeing of children, parents our teacher alike.
