This group of parent volunteers focuses on managing and supporting the preschool's day to day operations, ensuring it aligns with community goals, and overseeing its longevity. The Subcommittee:
helps manage the preschool's day to day operations,
coordinates parent volunteers,
works on program budgeting and financial oversight,
writes grants to secure funds for the program,
liaises with the community league to encourage enrollment and strengthen community ties,
updates or creates policies to ensure a safe and positive environment for preschool children and families,
oversees the teachers' employment
and keeps preschool and parents in the wider community informed.
This subcommittee reports to the Windsor Park Community League Board of Directors through the WPCL Programs and Events Director.
