Your participation is essential to the running of this program. Windsor Park Preschool is a community based, participant operated program. Please be sure that you have read and understand your obligations as a program participant.
As a preschool family, you are asked to commit to several areas of participation at the time registration and to submit deposit cheques for these commitments.
Operational Commitment - All preschool families are expected to volunteer. This could be in an operational position on the Preschool Subcommittee or in one of the Parent/Guardian Positions.
Duty Days - Each family is required to assist in the classroom according to the Duty Day roster established at the beginning of the school year. While your number of duty days depends slightly on enrolment, it ends up being approximately one duty day every two months.
Cleaning Bee - Each registrant is required to write a Cleaning Bee deposit. At the beginning of the school year, the Preschool families will vote on whether or not to cash these cheques to hire a cleaning service, or if the parents will be responsible for Cleaning Bee "shifts".
Family Fundraising Fee - Each registrant is required to write a Fundraising deposit. Upon completion of your fundraising commitment to raise $100 or more for the school year, your cheque will be voided/refunded.
All cheques will be deposited at their respective post-dated dates (as laid out in the Fee Sheets).
