This bombastic big band track, inspired by the Batman 1960's show and Austin Powers, was used in my Final Individual Project. The brass stabs you hear at the end were originally separate assets, triggered by combat animations that were synchronised to tempo (See 'Home').
This funky, Stevie Wonder-esque cue plays in the background of an illicit tape being viewed during '1972: The Future of Sex'. The rest may be left up to the imagination.
A jazz track inspired by artists like Freddie Hubbard, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Lee Morgan, Going Modal is a track that aims to evoke the jazz aesthetic that forms the backdrop of 'Mrs. Alexander', a play by Eloise Richmond which was voted for "Best Music and Atmosphere" in the audience-nominated 'D'Olivier' Awards.
This slow, atmospheric bit of cocktail jazz was used in a key scene in Miriam Battye's 'Scenes With Girls'. In it, one of the characters discovers love, with the music a romantic backdrop for this intimate moment.
This 70's disco-inspired track was made for the play '1972: The Future of Sex', a thought provoking play that touches on some key themes and historical considerations from the 1970's. It features in a scene taking place in - you guessed it - a 1970's disco. Lots of fun was had listening to the likes of the BeeGees and others for this one!
