LEFT: Driving through a derecho. No microbursts, but a lot of trucks off the road and a grain silo deposited in the middle of the Interstate. The couple was eastbound from Cedar Rapids, about 20 minutes to Des Moines, as was the derecho, also at 60 mph. The lightning video starts later in eastern Iowa and ends in mid-Indiana.
