Breeding Window: January 1st to January 31st

• Classified by brighter, more saturated patterning with dark quipping and dapples.

• White or black whisker/s running down their body, commonly 1 or 2 - but rarely 3 whiskers can be seen.

• Often bright colours appear in the mane where quipping touches.

• Breeding during the event window in January will pass down event traits with 100% success.

• Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

• Please see the next points for the appearance of their offspring if the event trait is not rolled.

  • • Colours, including mane, when bred outside January, should be diluted ex. Red to chestnut

    • Whisker cannot be passed down outside of January

Dragons cannot breed with other dragons

Quip Categories

• Regular quip with whiskers is the most common type of Quip

• All types and variations of quip are rare but possible on Dragon Equids

Breeding Window: February 1st to February 28th

• Classified by pink in their manes, typically either light or chocolate coat shades.

• *NEW* Pinking Quipping on the body in addition to the pink in the manes

• Breeding during the event window in February will pass down event traits with 100% success.

• Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

• Please see the next points for the appearance of their offspring if the event trait is not rolled.

  • • If bred outside of February, the Pink colour will mute to be grey, chestnut or cream

    • If bred outside of February, Heart quip will become regular

Valentines cannot breed with other valentines

Quip Categories

• Heart Quip is a modified regular quip, forming heart shapes in and around the quip

• This type of quip can appear filled

• All types and variations of quip can be present on Valentine's Equids

Breeding Window: April 1st to April 31st

• Equids with a spotted appaloosa coat with quipping

• Includes all variations of appaloosa ex. Blanket, fewspot, leopard, etc.

• Normally sterile, these equids cannot breed outside of the specialized April breeding event

• All appaloosas will receive a lifetime total of 10 breeding slots which can only be used during the April breeding event

Appaloosa cannot breed to Appaloosa

The small table below shows what kind of appaloosas you can expect when breeding down specific marking types and the percentage chance of them passing.

• Fewspot Appaloosa - 25% Fewspot Appaloosa | 75% Leopard Appaloosa

• Leopard Appaloosa - 100% Leopard Appaloosa

• Snowcap Appaloosa - 25% Snowcap Appaloosa | 75%  Blanket Appaloosa

• Spotted Blanket Appaloosa - 100% Spotted Blanket Appaloosa

• Varnish Appaloosa - 25% Varnish Appaloosa | 75% Snowflake Appaloosa

• Snowflake Appaloosa - 100% Snowflake Appaloosa

Breeding an appaloosa with a pinto may result in a pintaloosa unless a request is used not to pass down the pinto marks. This means that the foal will have pinto marks from the pinto parent as well as the corresponding appaloosa marks from the appaloosa parent.

Breeding Window: June 1st to June 31st

• Classified by ‘rainbow’ coloured quipping, from red to greys

• Rainbow is identifiable by its consisted arrangement of colours in the order of a rainbow

• Rainbow consists of at least 4 variations of colour

• Grey is used to mimic blue as this does not occur naturally in equids

• Rainbow can appear on any base coat with any quipping style.

• Breeding during the event window in June will pass down event traits with 100% success.

• Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

  • • Rainbow quipping becomes standard multicolour quip if bred outside July.

    • Rainbow cannot breed to Rainbow

Quip Categories

• Multi-coloured quip in a variety of colours to resemble a rainbow

• Quip colours include: red, orange, yellow and grey

• The grey colour sometimes leads more to a greenish olive grey, bluish grey or purple toned grey.

Breeding Window: August 1st to August 31st

• Classified by star shapes forming on the body

• Can appear connected to quip, inside quip or independently including a combination of those.

• Star can mix with multiple different quip types; eg, Regular, Flame or pinpoint

• Breeding during the event window in August will pass down event traits with 100% success.

• Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

Quip Categories

• Star-tipped refers to stars at the tip of the quip

Breeding Window: October 1st to October 31st

• Classified by skeleton patterns caused by quipping, paint marks or a combo of those two.

• Can be any animal skeleton with horse being most common.

• Often have red eyes and darker coats

• Breeding during the event window in October will pass down event traits with 100% success.

• Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

• Please see the next points for the appearance of their offspring if the event trait is not rolled.

  • • Skeleton marks should not be passed down if bred outside October.

Skeletons cannot breed with other skeletons

Breeding Window: November 1st to December 31st

• Classified by winter-themed quipping such as snowflake, frosted, etc.

• Quip is often lighter than the base coat

• Snowflakes can also appear in pinto markings

• Breeding during the event window in Nov/Dec will pass down event traits with 100% success.

• Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

• Please see the next points for the appearance of their offspring if the event trait is not rolled.

  • • Winter quipping becomes standard quip if bred outside Nov/Dec.

Winters cannot breed to winters

Quip Categories

• Snowflake, often displaying shark pointed lines, as that of a snowflake.

• Can be filled or regular with connecting lines

• Frosted is a soft flowing quip with soft feathered edges.

• Other Quip Types are not commonly present in Winter Equids
