General Event Breeding Guidelines

Event equids pass down their event traits (ex. Dragon, skeleton, valentines etc) during their event month window
A token is available for purchase in the WME ARPG, which can be used to enable 1 event equid breeding outside of this event month window - this needs to be added to the RPG prizes list.
Outside of event months, all event equids have a very rare chance to breed out an event equid (1%). The token negates this and guarantees an event equid.
Skull markings can be passed down from skeletons outside of the October window. Please check general breeding guidelines to find the passing rates!

Event equids only need 1 event parent to pass down their respective event during their month.

If two different event equids are bred together (ex. dragon and skeleton), it will only produce one of those two event equids (either dragon or skeleton).
If two different event equids are bred together during an event month (ex. January or October), it will result in the associated event equid being produced.
If two different event equids are bred together outside of an associated event month, the artist chooses which of the two event features will pass down in the event of the 1% roll success.
If the event equid breeding token from the ARPG is used, which event equid features are passed down by pairing two different event equids is decided by the person requesting the breeding (ex. requesting skeleton or dragon)

Event Breeding Schedule

Dragon

Breeding Window: January 1st to January 31st

Breeding during the event window in January will pass down event traits with 100% success.
Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

Please see the next points for the appearance of their offspring if the event trait is not rolled.

Colours, including mane, when bred outside January should diluted ex. Red to chestnut
Whisker cannot be passed down outside January

Dragons cannot breed with other dragons

Valentines & Heartbreakers

Breeding Window: February 1st to February 28th

Breeding during the event window in February will pass down event traits with 100% success.
Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

Please see the next points for the appearance of their offspring if the event trait is not rolled.

If bred outside of February, the Pink colour will mute to be grey, chestnut or cream
If bred outside of February, Heart quip will become regular

Valentines cannot breed with other valentines

Appaloosa

Appaloosas cannot breed to other appaloosas.

The small table below shows what kind of appaloosas you can expect when breeding down specific marking types and the percentage chance of them passing.

Fewspot Appaloosa - 25% Fewspot Appaloosa | 75% Leopard Appaloosa
Leopard Appaloosa - 100% Leopard Appaloosa
Snowcap Appaloosa - 25% Snowcap Appaloosa | 75% Blanket Appaloosa
Spotted Blanket Appaloosa - 100% Spotted Blanket Appaloosa
Varnish Appaloosa - 25% Varnish Appaloosa | 75% Snowflake Appaloosa
Snowflake Appaloosa - 100% Snowflake Appaloosa

Breeding an appaloosa with a pinto may result in a pintaloosa unless a request is used not to pass down the pinto marks. This means that the foal will have pinto marks from the pinto parent as well as the corresponding appaloosa marks from the appaloosa parent.

Rainbow

Breeding Window: June 1st to June 31st

Breeding during the event window in June will pass down event traits with 100% success.
Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

Rainbow quipping becomes standard multicolour quip if bred outside June.

Rainbow cannot breed to Rainbow

Stars

Breeding Window: August 1st to August 31st

Breeding during the event window in August will pass down event traits with 100% success.
Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

Star cannot breed to Star

Skeleton

Breeding Window: October 1st to October 31st

Breeding during the event window in October will pass down event traits with 100% success.
Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

Skeleton marks should not be passed down if bred outside of October.

Skeletons cannot breed with other skeletons

Winter

Breeding Window: November 1st to December 31st

Breeding during the event window in Nov/Dec will pass down event traits with 100% success.
Breeding outside their event window will pass down event traits at 1% chance.

Winter quipping becomes a standard quip if bred outside Nov/Dec.

Winters cannot breed with other winters
