Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC) is a national organization that aims to create "an environment of compassion, resiliency and hope for Canada's Veterans, First Responders and their families". They provide a variety of clinically facilitated programs specifically oriented towards the needs of Veterans and First Responders, as well as their families. These programs support individuals and their families who currently serve or have served the country or their communities. Some of WWC's mental health services include Trauma-Informed Workplace Training, Operational Stress Injury Group-Based Programs, Spousal and Youth Programs, and K9 Assisted Therapy.
One of the campaigns carried out by WWC is the HOPE campaign which aims to raise awareness of the effects of operational stress injuries such as PTSD. The HOPE campaign provides education on the services that are available for individuals suffering from operational stress injuries. This campaign also aims to provide hope to those who have served their country or communities and relieve feelings of isolation to them and their families.
