** IN ADDITION to the application, we are requesting that you submit a simple project narrative. Please email this to wrhometownsfund@gmail.com , using your project name in the subject line.
A thorough budget narrative is a required element of this application and will aid us in determining a recommended grant award. We understand that amounts included in a budget narrative may, by necessity, be estimates. The more you can break down your request and include accurate costs, or close estimates, the better our understanding of your project. For example, if you are a nonprofit organization requesting funding for a project, but you also have volunteers who do the work you might include that information.
Permit $354
Lumber $200 (estimate)
Concrete $150 (estimate)
Bolts $96 (estimate)
Project volunteer hours 50 (estimate)
Project request total $800
(note that the request is for slightly more than the total because three items on budget narrative are estimates - this is okay)
Even if your grant request is for a single item, please include it as a budget narrative, separate from the application. This is a required element of the application, and your application will not be considered without it.
