Very happy with my purchase

Well, we got a new puppy! Yeah!! Then night rolled around and we put the puppy in his kennel and he cried all night long. No one slept a wink those first few nights. I know some people say to get an old style clock and the ticking sound will comfort the puppy. I never really liked that idea because I was worried that the puppy would break the clock and accidentally swallow a piece of it. I happened upon this Snuggle Puppy and thought it was worth a try and seemed less risky than a clock. Well, let me tell you... he loves his puppy! I guess it didn't help that he was from a littler of 13 but having a "puppy" with a heartbeat that he could rest his head on actually made him feel better.
I'm very happy I decided to give this little guy a try.

Puppy pals

My 6 month old puppy still loves his snuggle puppy dearly. I gave it 3 rounds of batteries (kept heartbeat on around the clock) and the batteries have been dead a couple months now but he always brings it out of the crate with him and hasn't torn into it. He shreds cardboard boxes on the regular, and destuffs other toys, but snuggle puppy is treated with care. I didn't use the included heat pack, but I did put uncooked rice into an old sock and microwaved it 30 seconds or so to make a heat pack. I put that in the snuggle puppy once or twice on cold nights. No idea if it made a difference. The velcro on the belly is really strong so I didn't bother messing with opening it much.

Snuggle Puppy makes for a quiet night

The snuggle puppy works wonders. Brought home a 10 week old corgi pup, turned on the heart beat and the pup snuggled right up to it and slept 5 hours the first night. Starting week 2 and we are up to 7 hours a night. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is after 1 hour, one ear came off. I sewed it back on with heavy duty quilting thread. After 1 week my puppy pulled the velcro apart where you insert the heart. I had already removed the heart insert when I saw he had been pulling on this area and kept check on his activity. I sewed this area closed with the quilting thread. We will see how long this lasts. So far so go. The snuggle puppy works wonders keeping the puppy happy and calm. It just needs to be sewed better.

It's Legit!

I was a little skeptical but right from Night 1 we had no problems, either with bedtime or nap time in her crate. Riley is now 11 months old and she has chewed the tail and started to de-stuff it. She likes to carry it wherever she goes. We took it away and she found it sitting on top of a table and whined until we gave it back. We notice that she chews on the tail and kneads her paws. I think she thinks it's her Mama! Recently she had a bad experience in the car and started panting so we gave her Mama and she stopped panting and just laid down. We're getting her another one to have as a back up. I don't think she's ready to give it up. LOL

Actually surprised **Update

I got this for my German Shepherd puppy who was not liking her crate at the advice of my uncle. After the first night she started sleeping so much better. She loves cuddling with the puppy or being near it. She knows when I turn on the heartbeat that it's time for a nap.
She did not care for the heating pack that came with it so will not be buying more of those but highly recommend this for young puppies needing help sleeping through the night or crate training!
******UPDATE*****
So update, my puppy loves her snuggle puppy but she has been able to rip the seam from the tail to the Velcro! I thought this was suppose to be durable for more than one month barely? Probably going to buy another one but kind of disappointed considering the cost.

Puppy’s best friend 💗

I got this for my mom’s 6-week old chihuahua to help him transition from his litter mates and mother to his new human home. The heartbeat helped him bond with the toy and he slept with it all the time. Now he is almost 2 years old and it’s still his favorite toy. He wrestles with it all the time. This thing is almost twice his size but he loves it and drags it around the house with him.

I bought this for my dog in hopes to alleviate his seperation anxiety or at least calm his hysterics when left alone. It did not. The heat packs get really hot and so does the heart button. The inside of the bear is not deep enough to hide the heart and heat pack so you can definitely feel the shape and plastic heart when the toy is velcro'd. The toy is cute and durable. He much rather play with it than nap on it, but I would recommend. It might work for your dog.

Adorable

4 stars because my daughters puppy loves to cuddle this and it does work to help settle her down. Simple to add new heat packs and so far the puppy hasn’t tried to tear it apart. My only complaint was the shipping time was abysmal. I ordered a week before the puppy came home and it finally delivered 2 weeks after she had the puppy. By then the puppy had already learned to soothe herself and it kind of defeated the purpose. It’s also pretty costly for what it is.
