The flavor matters...chicken good, beef smells minty

I bought two flavors: chicken and beef. My cats get tired of flavors eventually so I thought alternating would help. The 5 stars are for the chicken, I would give the beef 2 stars (hoping it's just a manufacturing mixup)
My cat loves the chicken flavor. It has an opaque tan color, and smells meaty. I put it on the Emmeliestella 360 degree silicon toothbrush, and my cat will look and gnaw at it like it's a treat. She's slobbering on the floor because she likes it so much. I haven't figured out how to brush her teeth without her freaking out yet, but I figured this is a good start.
I bought the beef after I tried the chicken. It came out...clear? It didn't smell like meat either, just like petroleum jelly. I was doubtful so I tasted it. It tasted minty?? But the box and the tube says "beef". There is a vanilla mint flavor...maybe it was a mixup. So I got a replacement ...no difference. I thought maybe cats have different taste buds so it's beefy to them? No idea. She gave it a few licks but didn't seem to love it.

Highly recommended for your dogs. The vanilla mint is so likeable by my pooch. It looks like real human toothpaste that does not foam. Very fresh smell breath. Hope the plaque will not build up with this usage. This a way better than those chicken or peanut butter flavor dog toothpastes that you could smell their breath like chicken or peanut butter. Vanilla Mint is the thing :) Thank you.

My dog loves this stuff

My Yorkie is picky on what he'll eat but this stuff he eats like it's a treat! I never used to brush his teeth because he hates being messed with but with this stuff I let him lick some from the tube first then move in with the toothbrush! I first decided to buy this because he suffers from awful bad breath and nothing seems to work! Since starting him on it I've noticed an improvement in his breath as well! Definitely will be buying again when this tube runs out

It’s working!

I’ve been using daily on my pup since it arrived (about 5 days now) and it appears to be doing the job. I can see the difference and she is ok with the taste. She’s not running from me when I go to clean her teeth. She’s going (1 1/2 yes) so I think this will help her during her lifetime. I’m glad I got this product.

I got the poultry flavor. And she loved the flavor. Combined with the brushes I just purchased, and it is now easy to clean my dogs teeth. I have tried several different toothpastes before, such as mint, and she absolutely rejected those, acted like poison put in her mouth. I cannot imagine a dog liking mint flavor! anyhow she loved this toothpaste and doesn't fight getting her teeth brushed.

I have a 10 year old golden retriever and a 5 year old one also. They will both immediately come to the kitchen sink after eating in the morning and wait for me to brush their teeth. They prefer the mint flavor most. Their teeth are in great shape and they have never had to have the vet clean their teeth.

My dog has CUPS and in an effort to treat it. I tried several fancy brands of enzymatic toothpaste including and my dog couldn't of cared less.
However, this brand I guess they perfected the poultry flavor that my dog will approach without difficulty and tolerates teeth-brushing. Pl
This is the brand my vet and the organisation I adopted my dog from recommends. Big Fan!
