After exploring New York, Greenland, Australia, Tokyo and Kenya, we’re packing our suitcases with memories, friendships and lots of new discoveries.

After traveling across continents, discovering cultures, meeting people, seeing incredible animals and exploring breathtaking landscapes, our global adventure brings us to a very special destination… Brussels!
But this is not just any city—it’s the vibrant heart of Europe! Here, different languages, traditions and ideas come together like pieces of a colorful puzzle.
Our journey brings us here for an important reason: to celebrate Europe Day!

On this day, people across Europe remember the moment that sparked the idea of a united continent—where countries work together in peace and friendship.
In Brussels, the celebration is full of life! There are events, activities, and opportunities to learn more about how European countries cooperate and share values like Unity, Respect and Solidarity. It’s a day that reminds us that even though we speak different languages and have different traditions, we can build a better future together.
Brussels is also where important decisions for Europe are made, making it a place where voices from many countries unite. It reminds us that we are all part of one big European family!

Where Did the Name “Europe” Come From? Let the myth begin!
Before Europe became a Continent, a union of countries and a place we call home, its name was born in a story—an ancient Greek myth full of mystery, adventure and transformation.
Long ago, there lived a beautiful princess named Europa. According to the myth, her life changed forever when Zeus, the king of the gods, noticed her. To approach her, he transformed himself into a gentle white bull. Curious and unafraid, Europa climbed onto his back… and in a moment, the bull carried her away across the sea to a new land.
This legendary journey is known as the Abduction of Europa, a story that has traveled through time, inspiring art, literature and imagination for centuries.
From this myth, the name “Europe” was born!

🌍🧳 Brussels: the final stop on Suity's journey!
During our 9th eTwinning meeting, we travelled around the world once again with our special suitcase, Suity.
Using Google Earth, we retraced every stage of this incredible adventure: New York, Greenland, Tokyo, Australia, Kenya and finally Brussels, the heart of Europe.
At each destination, Suity collected a special souvenir and, most importantly, an important value: peace, respect, courage, cultural diversity, environmental awareness and cooperation.
This journey helped our students develop communication, collaboration and digital skills while discovering different cultures and learning the importance of active European citizenship.
Our final destination was Brussels and the European Parliament, where we reflected on how people from different countries can work together to build a better future, just as we do every day through eTwinning.
💙 The greatest treasure was not the souvenirs collected along the way, but the
friendships, experiences and memories we created together!
