This policy describes how Midturn Games handles information when you play Wickwake or contact us about it. Wickwake is a single-player puzzle game. You do not need to create an account to play.
Wickwake stores your progress, completed paths, preferences and related save data on your device. The game does not currently provide an account-based cloud-save service. Device backups managed by your operating system may retain app data according to your device settings.
The game records local notes about puzzle starts, attempts, moves, hints, completions, time spent playing, app version and ad-related events. Notes use random installation and session identifiers. These local records do not ask for your name or email address and are rotated to limit their size.
The current release configuration does not automatically upload these notes to Midturn Games. You can choose to copy notes and include them in feedback. You can clear the existing notes under Settings > Privacy & playtest data > Clear playtest notes; new notes may be created as you continue playing. Clearing playtest notes does not erase your puzzle progress or data held by providers. If we add optional automatic sharing in a later release, we will explain the change and offer the sharing choice before uploading notes.
When advertising is enabled, Wickwake uses Unity LevelPlay with Unity Ads and ironSource to show interstitial ads. These services may process device or installation identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device/app information and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where permitted, personalize advertising. Their advertising partners may also receive information. Provider retention and international processing are described in their policies.
Google's User Messaging Platform manages advertising privacy choices. Where required, the game presents consent choices and provides Ad privacy choices under Settings > Privacy & playtest data. Consent choices and available device privacy controls can affect advertising. Declining personalization does not necessarily remove all ads. Wickwake's current code does not request Apple's app-tracking permission.

If you submit feedback, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your message, device details, screenshots, copied playtest notes and any contact details you provide. We use it to respond, investigate issues and improve the game. Please avoid including passwords or sensitive personal information. We keep support information for as long as reasonably needed to address the request, maintain relevant support records and meet applicable obligations. You can contact us about access, correction or deletion. We may need limited additional information to identify the relevant submission.
When you install a beta through TestFlight, Apple collects and shares beta usage and crash information with us. Feedback may include contact information, depending on how you joined the beta. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, object to certain processing or opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying sale/sharing. Use the in-game advertising choices when available, the provider controls linked above, or contact us. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Device-only records may need to be managed on your own device because we do not receive them automatically.
Wickwake is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request and remove information where appropriate.
