Hello WGH Raider Band Families,

As we head into Spring Break, we have several items listed below for April as well as a list of dates through the end of the year.

BAND BANQUET
Sunday, April 26
DiViestes Banquet Centre
754 N River Rd NW
Doors Open: 3:30 pm
Banquet Starts: 4:00 pm
There are no printed tickets for this event.  Students and their families will give their names to the Boosters at the door.  Purchase tickets online:  https://wgh-raider-band-boosters.square.site/    Families can also use fundraising money to purchase tickets.  Those wishing to do so must contact Mr. Young directly via email .

JAZZ TWO
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
2:30 pm - 3:15 pm
All students involved with Jazz Two meet 3 days a week for rehearsal.

Wednesday, April 15 - Band Banquet Ticket Sales END
Be sure to purchase tickets before this date!

Wednesday, April 15 - Booster Senior Scholarships DUE
Seniors received information on Teams for the scholarship!

Thursday, April 16 - Jazz One at the Packard Jazz Fest
The concert starts at 6pm and multiple local high school groups as well as the Packard Big Band will be performing.

Monday, April 27 - Fundraiser: Dine-In at Chipotle
Flyers are attached to this email as well as the Band Calendar.

Saturday, May 2 - Jazz One at the WCS Alumni Hall of Fame Banquet
Jazz students will be performing before the dinner portion of the Banquet.  Report time is 5:00 pm.

Thursday, May 7 - Spring Band Concert @ 7:00 pm
Symphonic, Concert 1, and Concert 2 Bands will be performing. Report time: 6:15 pm for Freshmen, everyone else 6:30 pm

Monday, May 11 - Spring Jazz Fest @ 7:00 pm
Jazz One and Jazz Two will be performing.  Report time: 6:30 pm for both groups.

Thursday, May 14 - Band Booster Meeting @ 7:00 pm
Voting on next year’s officers will take place on this day.

Monday, May 25 - Memorial Day Parade
Report time will be forthcoming.

Thursday, May 28 - Graduation @ 7:00 pm
Symphonic Band and selected Concert 1 members will be performing.  More info will be forthcoming.

Saturday, June 6 - African American Achievers Festival Parade
Report time will be forthcoming.
