Hello WGH Raider Band Families, 

This is a combined end of February/month of March update!  

CURRENT FUNDRAISER

Pepperoni Rolls - Delivery is Thursday, March 5th

Pepperoni rolls can be picked up after school OR later in the evening during the Band Booster meeting from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm.

UPCOMING FUNDRAISER

Nothing Bundt Cakes - VOUCHERS ONLY

Starts: Monday, March 9

Money & Orders Due: Monday, March 23

Delivery: Monday, March 30

Nothing Bundt Cakes Voucher Fundraising Forms will be available in the band room on March 9th.

March 7 - OMEA Large Group Contest - Symphonic Band ONLY (see attachment for details)

March 28 - OMEA Jr. High Solo and Ensemble - certain 9th grade students ONLY (will receive info individually) 

April 16 - Packard Jazz Fest - Jazz Ensemble One ONLY

April 27 - Eat at Chipotle Fundraiser

May 7 - Spring Concert - Symphonic, Concert 1, and Concert 2

May 11 - WGH Jazz Fest - Jazz Ensemble One and Jazz Ensemble Two

May 25 - Memorial Day Parade - WGH Raider Marching Band

May 28 - WGH Graduation - Symphonic Band + Select Concert 1 Students

June 6 - African American Achievers Festival Parade - WGH Raider Marching Band (minus the class of 2026)

Additional details for each event will be made available within the coming months.  Please note, Jazz Ensemble One students may have one additional performance added to the schedule before the end of the year.

March 25, 26, & 27 - Majorette Clinics & Tryouts

May 14, 15, & 18 - Flagline Clinics & Tryouts

July 27 - July 31 - Mandatory Band Camp Week

Dates are being set for Drum Major Clinics and Tryouts, the Annual Band Banquet, and the start of Summer Band.  More information will be coming soon!
