We are excited that the 2026 Band Season is finally here!  A reminder that the primary source of our schedule is the Online Band Calendar.  On the band website, there are two versions of the calendar.  The first is the monthly version, and the second lists all band activities by date.  Simply scroll to see the version that is most helpful to you.

REMAINING SUMMER PRACTICES

All remaining rehearsals will be from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  This does change the bussing times.  Please see the attached page for more details.

BOOSTER MEETING
Thursday, August 27
7:00 pm - in the band room
All parents and guardians (especially first year members!) are invited to the Band Booster meeting to discuss the events during the season, fundraisers, and to volunteer for various events such as chaperoning and concessions.  If you need to apply for Booster Membership, CLICK HERE to fill out an application form and pay the $5.00 membership fee.

Band Night Ad Sales
Now through September 2
Band families are encouraged to sell ads for the WGH Band Night Program.  Patron ads as well as business ads are available for purchase, and more information can be found at: https://www.wghraiderband.org/bandnight.

NEW CALENDAR ITEM
Meet the Team Night - Fall Sports Preview
Wednesday, August 12
6:00 pm - Mollenkopf Stadium.
All band students are required to attend this event.  The report time is 5:15 pm, and the dress is "Raider Gear." We will be playing the National Anthem as well as several cheers throughout the evening.  Additionally, band members will be introduced by class.  Families, fans, and friends are invited to attend this free event!
