PTA Board Notice - Bylaw Rewrite In Progress
The Westridge Elementary PTA Board has reviewed and updated our PTA bylaws.
Why: To reflect the new board structure (i.e. the new co-president and co-treasurer positions) as well as an increase in our membership fee that aligns to the increased portion we share with the National PTA body.

PTA bylaws are the formal rules that govern the organization, membership, and operations of a Parent-Teacher Association. They provide a clear framework for how the PTA is structured, how decisions are made, and how members work together to support the school community.
Our Bylaws outline:
• Purpose and mission of our organization
• Membership eligibility and dues
• Officer roles, responsibilities, and election procedures
• Meetings, quorum requirements, and voting rules
• Committee formation and duties
• Financial policies, including budgeting and audits
• Amendments process for updating the bylaws
• Dissolution procedures
